A quick recap of the World Cup:   I had planned on writing a nice little conclusion to this years World Cup, but as of right now I am at a loss for words.  Their were glimpses of extraordinary plays, shots on goal, 4o yrd passes…  but having to wait for 4 years, I felt a little cheated.  I expected more goals, better play by the “superstars”, better play by the elite teams, and it just wasn’t there for me.  What it did do was strike a fire in me to want to play again!  This September a group us from the gym are forming a team, and I can’t tell you how excited I am to play again… it’s been too long!  SO in conclusion, Brasil 2014, the best of the best better step it up and make amends for their so-so performances and prove to the world how truly special they are.  I will be in Rio as a witness, my prayer is I don’t have to write Soccer off with the rest of the tainted professional sports I despise.

    145# on final set of snatch

    30minutes w/ 4 minutes of rest. team style, burpees until the last man was finished with their reps before you could move on….probably did 40+ burpees
